MeHI, established by an act of the Massachusetts Legislature, is the state's entity for health care innovation, technology, and competitiveness and is responsible for advancing the dissemination of health information technology throughout Massachusetts, including the deployment of electronic health records systems in all health care provider settings that are networked through a statewide health information exchange.
Vantage is a virtual network of owners representing a medical school, with a pharmacy and dental school as well and several community hospitals in Pennsylvania. Vantage is a “virtual” network and system because unlike the usual definition of a system, the owners remain independent and have ownership in Vantage…Vantage does not own the School or the hospitals. Yet, the network and system can offer services and programs that here to fore only large systems could deploy.
The Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) is Michigan’s initiative to continuously improve health care quality, efficiency, and patient safety by promoting secure, electronic exchange of health information through the MiHIN Health Information Services Cloud™ (HISC). MiHIN represents a growing network of public and private organizations working to overcome data sharing barriers, reduce costs, and ultimately advance the health of Michigan’s population.
