Unix/Linux System Administrator
Summary: The System Administrator is responsible for installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software related infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to: Operating System management, network design, configuration and implementation, and Cisco device management. This individual ensures that core systems and related procedures adhere to organizational policies
and enable staff, customers and partners to work efficiently.

- Daily Monitoring Of

- Issue troubleshooting and resolution
- Research, development and deployment of new technologies
Adhere to existing and maintenance of IT policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Installation, Configuration and Maintenance
- Linux Certification preferable (LPI)
- Networking
- Switches, Routers, Firewalls
- TCP/IP
- Hardware Installation and Maintenance
- Servers
- Storage
- Network Equipment
Technical Background
- Strong experience using Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or CentOS Linux versions 5 and 6
- Experience in deploying and configuring Cisco networking equipment including switches, routers and firewalls
- Virtualization experience a plus (Citrix XenServer, VMWare vSphere/ESX)
- Ability to research, learn, and utilize leading-edge emerging technologies
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years working experience working Linux and Unix based systems.
Language Skills:
- Communicate in a professional manner both orally and in writing with customers and colleagues.
